What of us?
In a quiet corner where root and stone keep ancient counsel, our ovens burn warm and steady, as all good hearths ought to. We gather ripe fruit from sunlit boughs, honey from wandering bees, and herbs that have spent their days beneath the moon, then coax them into little offerings of sweetness, comfort, and the occasional bit of mischief.
Each cookie, cake, and confection is made by hand, with a good measure of patience and a fondness for the gifts the seasons leave behind. We favor the flavors of forests, meadows, orchards, and hedgerows: humble things, perhaps, but with the right care, even the humblest ingredients can become something rather enchanting.
We make our treats with gratitude for the High Courts, whose seasons and traditions have shaped the lands around us, while keeping our doors open to all who wander our way. Courtly, common, wandering, or belonging to no court at all—we make no fuss about it. If you have a sweet tooth and come in good faith, there is likely something here for you.
So come, sit a while. Rest if you are weary, indulge your curiosity if you are not, and stay for something sweet. The seasons will change, the offerings will change with them, and there is always something new to discover.
